Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026. DeckFinder is a small, independent hobby project.
What we collect
- Account basics — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and avatar URL to identify your account.
- Your collection & decks — the card lists you upload or paste, plus any decks and settings you save.
- A session cookie — a random token that keeps you signed in. That's the only cookie we set.
- Minimal server logs — standard request logs for reliability and abuse prevention.
How we use it
Only to provide the service — computing deck coverage, suggesting substitutes, and saving your decks. We do not show ads, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Third parties
To look up card data, prices, and metagame decklists we query Scryfall, EDHREC, and MTGGoldfish — this involves sending card names, not your identity. Sign-in is handled by Google, and traffic is served through Cloudflare. Each has its own privacy policy.
Keeping & deleting your data
Your data stays until you remove it. You can export your collection as CSV, or permanently delete your account and everything tied to it, from the Settings page at any time. Backups may persist for a short period before they roll off.
Security & children
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no service can promise perfect security. DeckFinder isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes & contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here. Questions? Email [email protected].
